From Wakan Tanka, the Great Spirit, there came a great unifying life force that flowed in and through all things - the flowers of the plains, blowing winds, rocks, trees, birds, animals - and was the same force that had been breathed into the first man. Thus all things were kindred, and were brought together by the same Great Mystery.

Kinship with all creatures of the earth, sky, and water was a real and active principle. In the animal and bird world there existed a brotherly feeling that kept the Lakota safe among them. And so close did some of the Lakotas come to their feathered and furred friends that in true brotherhood they spoke a common tongue.

The animals had rights - the right of a man's protection, the right to live, the right to multiply, the right to freedom, and the right to man's indebtedness - and in recognition of these rights the Lakota never enslaved an animal, and spared all life that was not needed for food and clothing.

This concept of life and its relations with humanizing, and gave to the Lakota an abiding love. It filled his being with joy and mystery of living; it gave him reverence for all life; it made a place for all things in the scheme of existence with equal importance to all.

The Lakota could not despise no creature, for all were of one blood, made by the same hand, and filled with the essence of the Great Mystery.

In spirit, the Lakota were humble and meek. "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth" - this was true for the Lakota, and from the earth they inherited secrets long since forgotten. Their religion is sane, natural, and human.

Three Arrows Stable is striving to produce Homozygous Champagne dilutes with correct type and conformation, quality minded individuals that will succeed in any area from the show ring to within a family unit.

Finding a second champagne stallion to blend with champagne mares was not a easy task, having a blend of three champagne lineages within the programs foundation tracing to "Bond Bit O Luck", "Seven CS Cotton Candy" and "PV's Buckskin Lady", the dream is well on its way to reality.

We are very close to our goal of the homozygous champagne dilute ~ with the 2012 breeding season upon us having a much anticipated 2013 foaling season to look forward to, having spent many hours, years, traveling time and research seeking out exceptional champagne dilutes to place our program on its foundation, within these pages you will find our work in progress from the past and present champagne lineage produce, to the beginning of the future lineage of the miniature in champagne color.

We are a small farm nestled in the hills of West Virginia's Northern Panhandle, being involved with horses and the industry for most of our lives breeding, raising, showing and sales of  AQHA, APHA, Arabian and Thoroughbred Racing Industry.

The early 1990's brought change with a decision that would forever change our lives, farm and the programs within its structure, the purchase of our first miniature.

The miniature program began by phasing out the larger cousins, as the new generation of smaller horses took over the farm, retaining two of our best riding horses along with a couple of thoroughbreds early into racing careers.

We are dedicated to producing and promoting show and pet quality  horses with champagne dilute color, exceptional lineage of foundation and new, correct conformation with classic Arabian type while keeping the standard for the breed in place.

2012 has brought change again within the  structure of our programs foundation we are pleased with decision to breed and promote only AMHR and ICHR  horses, this change will allow us many areas of growth with select breeding, promoting and show of horses produced within one registry. Finding over the years the B sectioned miniature horse best fits our programs structure with our foals produced having shown with success with only limited outings.

Over the years while placing our program on its foundation we have meet the most wonderful people within the miniature industry,      Without the help, knowledge, honesty, kindness and guidance of each of these breeders, and of course the horses produced, none of this would of been possible.

Why not teach school children more of the wholesome proverbs and legends of our people?

That we killed game only for food, not for fun........Tell your children of the friendly acts of the Indians to the white people who first settled here.

Tell them of our leaders and heroes and their deeds.......Put in your history books the Indian's part in the World War.

Tell how the Indian fought for a country of which he was not a citizen, for a flag to which he had no claim, and for a people who treated him unjustly.

We ask this, Chief, to keep sacred the memory of our people.
